All double pane windows fail. The day that they leave the factory they begin accumulating moisture and start on the road to eventual failure. If you live in a housing development where lots of your neighbors' windows have failed or you've already had a number of failed windows in your home, we suggest you consider our Preventative Program. Once a few windows of the same age and manufacture have started to fail, odds are high that the rest of them will fail soon. We can re-engineer your windows before they fail at a considerably lower price than repairing them, thereby saving you from ever having another failed window that needs to be repaired or replaced. And that saves you money.
When we do preventative care we only need to install one valve in your window. Since no moisture has accumulated in the window yet, we don't have to use any cleaning solutions inside the window. This greatly simplifies the process and reduces the cost. One valve can stop solar pumping in the window thus stopping the cycle the creates window failure in the first place. It's clean, quick and economical and comes with the same life-time warranty that our Window Defoggers™ window repair process does.
In larger windows, over 20 sq. feet, we use 2 or more valves to assure that the entire window gets the benefit of the newly installed valves so the price is a bit higher.
